Topic: Update on Salvation Army Community Support/Activities

Lieutenants Craig & Arwyn Rodriguera are the Corps Officers (Pastors/Administrators) of The Salvation Army of Chico Community Center & Family Service Office located in Chapmantown. They were appointed to Chico on July 4th, 2014. Before committing their lives as Salvation Army Officers, Craig received his B.A. in History & a Masters in Education (Secondary Education) at Hawaii Pacific University in Honolulu, HI; and was planning on pursuing a career teaching overseas. Arwyn received her B.A. in Cross-Cultural Ministries with a minor in Bible & Theology from Simpson University in Redding, CA. Arwyn was pursuing international refugee work and missions overseas. Arwyn was also the session president & valedictorian of her class (2012-2014) at The Salvation Army's seminary school called "College for Officer's Training at Crestmont", located in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. Craig & Arwyn have been married for over 6 years and are planning for a family. Lt. Craig is an active Chico Noon Rotarian. Both Lieutenants are involved in various local collaborative task forces in the chico community which include Homeless Prevention & Care, Emergency Disaster Response Teams, non-profit collaboration of social services, Love Chapmantown Coalition, Chico Pastors Together…to name a few. They are both convicted by their calling from God to serve others and meet needs without discrimination. They have a dedicated passion to restoring lives in their ministry and have committed their lives to serving wherever God leads them."
