Maj. Dan Wilson, The Salvation Army
Dan Wilson was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. He started volunteering there with The Salvation Army in 1986 with a men's athletic program. He, along with his wife Terrie entered The Salvation Army College for Officer's Training in Chicago, Illinois in the fall of 1988. In 1990 Cadets Dan and Terrie Wilson were commissioned as Lieutenants and were appointed to the Rockford, Illinois Citadel Corps and Community Center and had subsequent appointments in Rochester, Minnesota and Albert Lea, Minnesota until accepting work as employees at The Colorado Springs, Colorado Corps and Community Center in 1997.

While in the Western states the Majors Wilson have had officer appointments at the Denver Harbor Light; West Adams Corps; Casper, Wyoming Corps; Grand Junction, CO Corps and ARP; and now the Chico, California ARP (Adult Rehabilitation Program).

Major Dan Wilson brings to the Chico ARP 19 years of Salvation Army officership, 25+ years of retail management experience, and 13 years of working with people in Drug and Alcohol Recovery.

Majors Dan and Terrie Wilson have five children, two grandchildren and one on the way. His interests include athletics, fishing, song writing, ministry, and traveling.
